Why Support Cedar Lane?

Cedar Lane offers compassion and hope in these uncertain times. This congregation is here for you – a community where you can be nurtured and comforted when you need solace, a community where you can stand up for your beliefs and show love and justice in action, a community where your full, authentic self is welcome.

Your Generosity Matters Now

Cedar Lane is fully responsible for raising our annual budget. Your contributions directly impact the programs and staff that Cedar Lane is able to offer.

Our goal is to raise $950,000 – a 5% increase over last year. Cedar Lane has 675 active members and contributing friends. We aim to ensure participation from all of our members and friends.

And, many people are experiencing uncertainty about employment, housing, access to medical care, and more. Your income may be in flux, reduced, or unknown. If you feel unable to make a financial commitment right now, that is ok. We are your community and you are welcome here.

The Unitarian Universalist Association provides a fair share giving guide to assist you in determining your pledge amount. In our UU faith, pledges typically range from 3% to 7% of household income, with some aspiring to a tithe of 10% or more.

Celebration Sunday

March 30, 2025

Inspiring Worship Service. Family Activities. Congregational Lunch.

Supporting your religious community is a catalyst for spiritual growth.

Giving is an opportunity to reflect on questions like

  • How does generosity embody the interconnectedness of all and contribute to collective healing?

  • What does my UU faith inspire me to be and do?

  • How does love manifest within Cedar Lane in life-changing ways?
